BIO

Coach Boyle is currently the principal at the Richmond Middle School in Hanover, NH.  A graduate of Hanover High School he returns to the upper valley after an over 30 year odyssey that has caused him to appreciate what the area has to offer.  After working as a teacher outside NYC, Boyle embarked on a journey as an academic counselor in 3 different Div. I athletic departments around the country, returning finally to teaching and administration at the middle school level.  Working with coaches at the University of Arizona, Boston College, and LSU, he learned the ways elite coaches work with students to build not only great athletes, but great people.

A 4 year soccer player for George Merrill at Hanover High School, and an all CVL performer his senior year, Boyle continued to play in adult leagues in Arizona and Louisiana.  Along the way Boyle expanded and built upon his coaching experience.  He served as a founding member and 5 year head coach of a the Tucson Storm hockey club, eventually winning a Western League championship.  While in Baton Rouge he coached 4 different Middle School soccer teams for 7 seasons (two girls, two boys).  Working with those younger players, some of whom had never played before, allowed him to give back to the game and build many high school soccer players along the way.  He continued to grow the game as a regional level soccer referee.  Boyle spent the past 12 years officiating over 1200 games at all levels: High School state championships, regional level club, NWSL, and the adult semipro Gulf Coast Premier League.  He brings this extensive knowledge of the game at high levels to River’s Edge.

Boyle is happy to return to coaching, and excited to work with the River’s Edge club.
